Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz

The goal of this project is revitalization of the Květná garden in Kroměříž, especially the foreland , where an appropriate visitor center is to be created, capacity of which would would provide for the whole garden. The basic principle of this project is rebuilding the garden in its previous state and provide the visitors with what they need to understand and appreciate it. The main point of the design is in relocating the former entrance so as to meet the needs of the newly created visitor center. The foreland is renewed and split into separate spaces to supplement the function of the main garden and provide further utilization options.

The subject of this work is revitalization of a part of Květná garden in Kroměříž. This solution is focused on functional division and hierarchy of spaces. The project was created with emphasis od historical context and composition of historical gardens. Project investigates possibilities of moving the entrance into the historical gardens, so that it would compliment the historical and compositional qualities of the gardens. The new entrance also suits the function of the garden better. The foreland is dividend into several hierarchically arranged spaces with various measure of attractiveness. All the spaces are designed to supplement the main area of the garden, not to dominate it. Basis of the design is dramatical visitor center and pulling of the half-public space into the organism of gardens.

Historický vývoj vybraného zámeckého parku a návrh na jeho revitalizaci

This diploma thesis aims to create revitalization plan of a castle garden in Hluboká nad Vltavou. The first part of the thesis presents literary research which deals with the development of garden design, specialized terminology, and mainly with the revitalization of castle gardens and parks. It also discusses the protection of cultural heritage and international and national legislative documents which are concerned with issues connected to the maintenance of historical gardens and parks. The research part of the thesis includes the historical development of the park, a description of its current state (including the inventory of trees), a plan of revitalization with a map and a timetable of work. For the purpose of the thesis, repeated field research was realised at the location. During the field research photographic documentation was made.

Procedures of the use and application of the biochemical preparations to the aquatic environment quality and water elements sediment state adjustment in the frame of cultural heritage management

The monument procedure contains knowledge and instructions, which, according to the experience gained, should contribute to solving the unsatisfactory state of the aquatic environment in terms of water quality, excessive algae growth, increased turbidity, odor, and worsening conditions for fish life. This is usually associated with fluctuations in oxygen content and pH of water, the occurrence of toxic forms of metals, ammonia, etc. One of the parts is devoted to the possibility of the application of biological and biochemical preparations to reduce the organic component of sediments and reduce their volume. Recommendations are given for the survey of sediments, analysis of their composition, and determination of a suitable procedure for the application of preparations. Part of the monument procedure is documentation for the design and production of cultivation equipment for biological preparations (bioreactor), including description of its operation and maintenance.

Sustainability principles of fish stock of cultural monuments and historical settlements water elements

The object of the monuments procedure is to put into practice suitable and verified principles of composition of fish stocks of cultural monuments water elements, for production ponds and reservoirs, and for ornamental reservoirs, basins and pools. At the same time, it brings information about methods of fish stock management, principles of introduction of predatory fish, use of fish for biomelioration of aquatic environment. It also provides recommendations for the maintenance and care of farmed fish. To achieve this, it also includes a section aimed at identifying and describing an appropriate approach to solutions to improve water status, including water quality, and ensure the sustainability of fish stocks. Part of the monuments procedure is also a brief analysis of the issue of degradation of the reservoirs and ponds environment from the perspective of fish survival, due to pollution and water eutrophication. It also describes the individual causes of the unsuitable state of the aquatic environment.

Průzkum a obnova historické zahrady. Modelový objekt: zámecká zásobní zahrada v Jaroměřicích nad Rokytnou

The theme of this bachelor work is Research and restoration of a historic garden. The model object, castle kitchen garden in Jaromerice nad Rokytnou, is situated in the western part of garden, in the small town Jaromerice nad Rokytnou, located in the southeastern Moravia, not far from Trebic. In the introduction there is a general summary of the topic research and restoration of historical gardens. The next part deals with the analysis of the garden -- short characteristcs of the territory, natural conditions, historical development and compositional, operational and functional relationships. The last part deals with the study of analogous kitchen gardens, their historical development, and there is mentioned a few sources of inspiration, both from abroad and internal sources as well. Based on the findings, the renewal desing of a kitchen garden was created. The essential task was to respect the historical values and spirit of the place. It is based on the results of analyzes and it responds to them. It seeks to preserve the functionality while increasing the attractiveness of the area and the wider use for public. The renewal design involves the creation of cafe with the indoor and outside seating, small shop for herbal products and souvenirs purchase and creation of the program through a variety of exhibitions, events and guided tours.

This thesis deals with the subject of archeology and it's role in exploration work in buildings of historical significance, focusing on garden objects. The basis is the knowledge itself archeology devoted to the study of past human societies through testimony and other material non-written sources. Characterizes and describes in detail the methods of archaeological survey , which lead to the findings on which archeology trying to establish their claims . The paper presents the possibility of application of the various methods of archaeological research at the polls in historic buildings garden art and assesses their importance for the restoration of monuments of garden art . To further evaluate the importance of archeology in historical garden buildings are representative samples of works of garden art , whose restoration was used archaeological survey. The information obtained from the theoretical and practical studies were used to confront current problems with this theme.
